From code to consultancy

Zero Fluff is run by two directors, Andy and Philippa Doyle, who share the work equally.

Andy has been building digital products since the early 90s, from startup MVPs to enterprise platforms. Philippa started as a developer and technical director, then founded businesses of her own: a Devon digital agency group, and The Bshirt, a sustainable fashion brand she grew into one of the UK's first 1,000 B Corps before exiting. Her work on circular business won an Innovate UK Women in Innovation Award.

Between us we've seen every trend come and go. AI is different — it's genuinely transformative for small businesses, but only if you implement it practically. Zero Fluff exists because we kept seeing two things: business owners drowning in admin that AI could handle in minutes, and consultants selling expensive strategies that never got implemented.

We're based in Totnes, Devon, and work with small businesses right across the South West — Devon, Cornwall, Somerset, Dorset and Bristol — as well as clients further afield. Being local means we can sit down with you in person when it helps, and we know the realities of running a small business down here, because we've both done it.

Our approach is hands-on. We work with you directly, understand your actual workflows, and build solutions that stick — not slide decks that gather dust.
